Our Grenache is light bodied with great acidity and wonderful fruit flavors of currants, cranberries and ground spices from sweet baking to pepper. This is our best ‘food’ wine–being able to pair with fish, light poultry and vegetarian dishes as well as game meat, lamb, and rich stews. It’s also incredibly delicious with chocolate.
We ferment our small lots in small open top fermentation vessels that we bunch down daily by hand, morning and evening. Lot was then transferred to 1 large puncheon barrel and 2 French oak barrels, aged for 26 months prior to bottling.
