Individual vineyard lots of Cabernet Sauvignon were fermented separately and barrel aged in a combination of French and American oak for 17 months. A warm vintage gave us ripe Cabernet Sauvignon with aromas of ripe black fruit and a hint of cassis. The voluminous fruit carries through the mouth. Barrel aging the wine adds hints of warm spices and aids in the depth and complexity. Powdery tannins gives structure to the wine while maintaining an elegant, balanced mouth feel. This Cabernet Sauvignon shows great expression of the terroir of the Horse Heaven Hills AVA.
